JACKSON, NJ- UNEX Manufacturing has announced that they will move their offices and production to the Lakewood Industrial Park at 691 New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood, New Jersey in January 2015.
“2014 has been a year of transition for UNEX,” says Brian Neuwirth, Vice President of Sales and Operations at UNEX Manufacturing. “Everything we’ve done this year has been geared toward creating a new identity for the company while retaining the characteristics that have made us the premier carton flow solution provider in the industry for 50 years.”
UNEX’s new facility will be located in the second largest industrial park in New Jersey, and will be a state-of-the-art 75,000 square foot facility housing offices, manufacturing, and assembly.
“The new building allows us to bring all of our operations under one roof, an advantage we don’t have currently as we are using three buildings on one campus,” says Neuwirth. “This will not only increase our efficiency by reducing operational redundancies, but will also create more usable space, as there are less firewalls and fixed structures in one building than there were in three.”
While some aspects of UNEX’s operation are already in place at the new facility, the company projects to be fully moved by January 1, 2015.
