In Booth 2047, UNEX will exhibit innovative order picking solutions that maximize space usage, increase pick rates and improve ergonomics at the point of pick.

At the UNEX Manufacturing Booth 2047, visitors will be guided through a mock Air Guitar Factory, where they will see UNEX lineside storage solutions for pulling parts in assembly, UNEX Gravity Conveyors taking parts to shipping, and UNEX picking solutions that ease fulfillment. Visitors will get a hands on look at UNEX’s full range of order picking solutions, including their patented carton flow solution Span-Track, which provides conveyor-like carton flow that doubles the capacity of carton flow systems. UNEX carton flow can be integrated into any structure, ranging from shelving to specialized pick modules. The company also designs and manufactures a full line of gravity conveyor products tailored to the order picking process. UNEX Flow Cells help create durable, modular and portable workstations for the manufacturing floor.
UNEX will also showcase their newest solution, Pick-Plank, which has been named a Best New Innovation Finalist for the 2016 MHI Innovation Award competition. The MHI Innovation Award serves to educate and provide valuable insights on the latest manufacturing and supply chain innovative products and services. Pick-Plank is a mechanical order picking device that affixes to a pallet and converts each pick slot from a static to a dynamic storage position, allowing all items on a pallet to be accessible from the aisle. It is suitable for case picking less than full pallet from a man aboard order picker, eliminating the need for the picker to have to reach or crawl into the storage position. UNEX Pick-Plank improves space utilization in the warehouse, provides a safe and ergonomic pick and increases pick rates.
