A major focus of this presentation was the manufacturing skills gap- a persistent issue that has considerable implications for the future of the manufacturing industry. President Neuwirth argued that how manufacturers like us address this skills gap will ultimately define the next several decades of American manufacturing. We compiled President Neuwirth's facts, figures, and recommendations into this handy infographic. Overcoming the skills gap in manufacturing is a monumental challenge.
